Salina
Salina opened Karma Salon & Spa in August 2014 after always aspiring to have a salon of her own. She is a driven, ambitious and customer-oriented salon owner who leads from the front and has a hands-on approach to running her business. She believes that continuing education in this business is a priority so that we can provide safe, effective and reliable results to our clients every time. She feels it is just as important to also understand and build relationships with each client to focus on their wants and needs. She has a true passion for teaching and believes in apprenticeships to be able to learn hands on in the right setting under the right supervision to get the best education possible. Salina is extremely proud of her talents, her business and her staff. She states, “I have the utmost respect, trust and confidence in every one of my Cosmetologists and I feel that each one of them brings a unique talent and specialty to our Karma family!”
Rhonda
Mesmerized by watching her grandmother at the early age of 14 years old, Rhonda’s dream came true when she became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 1988. She was confident at an early age that this was her passion and she would be the best that she could be. With over 31 years of experience, she believes that keeping up with education and current trends allows her to perfect her technique and satisfy her customers need to stay in style and up-to-date. In addition to her years of service, she owned her own salon in Forest Hill, MD. She also enjoys and is educated in all nail services as well. From haircuts and color to manicures and pedicures to everything in between, your consultation with her is very important. She will do everything she can to help you achieve exactly what you are looking for and what you want, including educating you on how to achieve or maintain your look at home!
Cadence
Cadence has a true love and talent for artistry and loves to paint and design canvas’ that inspire. She made the decision to bring her talents into the salon world when she realized her true passion to create works of art not only as a graphic designer but nails as well. Her true talent shines through in her work and personality. She began assisting the salon owner and nail technicians to get a real life behind the nail station experience before sitting behind her own nail station and taking her own clients. She continues to expand on her knowledge of the industry by attending classes to learn from the industry’s best and top leaders. Education is key to success in this industry as trends and new products are always changing and evolving. Her true passion lies within creating fun, creative nail designs with subtle and vibrant colors that brings out her client’s personalities.
Tina
Tina is a highly skilled and passionate master barber with over 21 years of experience in precision cutting, styling and grooming including fades, shaves, and beard maintenance. She specializes in high-end grooming and custom fades. She is dedicated to providing exceptional client services and building loyal relationships. While she is an expert in modern trends and traditional techniques, she is also committed to maintaining safe high sanitation standards. She also enjoys women & children’s haircuts and colors.
Vonnie
Vonnie is a master barber with 28+ years of experience with a proven recurring client base and is focused on delivering premium, tailored and trendy styles for both women and men. She specializes in all color services as well as men’s fades and scissor cuts. She has continued her education in many different classes; including color, highlighting, clipper techniques and hair relaxing. In keeping up with her education and passions, Vonnie has also attended many classes learning formal up-do techniques for special occasions.
